Turns out Konami’s hit a home run with its own dating sim, and the real life girlfriends and wives of the men sucked into the game are not happy. Love Plus, the sim in question, was marketed via hand written love letters pushed onto lonely looking men by cute girls. The letters — complete with a phone number — were “written” by the game’s character, spilling her heart to the random guy.

But apparently, attention the men are lavishing on their virtual significant others are leaving their real life significant other out in the cold. The problem is so bad, the real women consider their men to be cheating.

No word on when Jerry Springer’s picking up on this.
