It’s about two months until Halloween rears its sugary-coated spookiness in the US, but in Japan they like to get things out of the way.

Rather than wait for the end of October to start printing the requisite stories of supposed non-corporeal and undead happenings, the Shukan Taishu profiles Mayumi, a former AV star, who claims to have seen a ghost while having sex on camera — like The Grudge, only with boobs.

It also tells the story of a ghost hooker in a soapland — the best part of having sex with an agent from beyond, apparently, is that they don’t charge a thing.

Awesome.

Dating sims from Japan are nothing new, as are the myriad of, uh, speciality interests they cater to — some of them best not mentioned, for legal reasons, here.

But in a first, Moero Downhill Night will incorporate a drifting (or, as us older car nuts would call it, oversteer) sim and a dating sim. The game, in a probably a first for the dating sim genre, will not only let players decide the best way to pick up scantily-clad female anime characters, but smoke some tires and go through rubber like a whore on a Navy payday.

So if you equate Initial D with hot sex (and really, that’s one of the most normal fetishes a dating sim could appeal to), well, Japan’s got you covered.
