Japan Thinks of the Children
By Editor on Jul 10, 2009 in Uncategorized
No, this isn’t the time machine for the Japanese Doctor Who, but it is a receptacle to dispose of “magazines and other things that wouldn’t be good for boys.” It could mean anything, including anything directed by Brett Ratner, a subscription to NAMBLA’s in-house magazine or Demi Moore.
But really, c’mon. This is Japan, and we all know what kind of “magazines and other things” that signage is talking about. It saddens me, however, to know that the teenaged boys in Japan won’t have the sense of joy that comes from discovering carelessly discarded porn.
It’s something every boy needs to experience, like backne and finding out that women’s studies classes aren’t what you think it is.
Not that any of these kids nowadays would sully their hands with porn found in the gutter — they’re probably just getting it online like everyone else.
And as a special bonus: I present the Doctor and the Daleks, dubbed in Japanese.
